David Battleman

David Battleman has extensive work experience in the life sciences and healthcare sector. David is the Principal and Founder of TrueNorth Lifesciences, where they provide strategic consulting and financial advisory services to innovative life science companies. Additionally, they work with elite family offices, hedge funds, and high net worth individuals in healthcare and biotech-related investments. Prior to TrueNorth, David served as a Managing Director at Pickwick Capital Partners. David was also a Senior Principal at IMS Health and a Management Consultant at Bain & Company. Earlier in their career, David worked as a Director at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and as an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine.

David Battleman has a strong education background, with degrees spanning multiple fields. In 1988, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University. David then pursued further studies in medicine, attending the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Medical Doctor (MD) degree. Continuing their academic journey, Battleman pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Epidemiology & Quantitative Methods from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, completing the program from 1998 to 2000. Finally, they attended The Wharton School from 2002 to 2004, where they received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance.
