Lauren Fleshman has had an extensive and diverse work experience. Lauren is currently an author of "Good for a Girl" at Penguin Random House since 2023. Prior to that, they were an author of the Believe Training Journal Series at Velo Press starting in 2014. From 2013 to present, they have been involved with Oiselle as a retired professional athlete, where they focused on branding, marketing, and strategy. Additionally, they served as the coach of the pro running group "Little Wing" based in Bend, OR. In 2010, they co-founded Picky Bars, Inc. and also worked as an athletic lifestyle blogger and advisor at Ask Lauren Fleshman. Earlier in their career, they were a professional athlete from 2003 to 2016 and represented the United States in various international races. Lauren also contributed as a contributing editor at Runner's World from 2013 to 2015 and co-founded Believe I Am from 2010 to 2013.
Lauren Fleshman pursued their education at Stanford University, where they obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Human Biology and Education from 1999 to 2004. Prior to their time at Stanford, they completed their high school education with honors at Canyon High School from 1995 to 1999, earning a high school diploma. However, no specific field of study was provided for their high school education.
