Özden

Cem Özden is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Scala and backend development. Currently at Picnic Technologies since August 2025, Cem previously held roles at Sytac and The Org, where contributions included developing a distributed orchestration system and maintaining backend systems utilizing technologies like GraphQL, Akka, and various Scala libraries. Earlier experience includes working at VirtusLab on cloud infrastructure and microservices for Tesco PLC, development work for UBS at Luxoft, and IT engineering at Halkbank. Cem holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Debrecen.
