Ian Brown

Ian Brown MBA is a seasoned Software Development Manager with extensive experience in leading software development teams and managing IT delivery. Currently at Pico Technology since August 2021, Ian previously held the same position at Stapletons Tyre Services from January 2018 to August 2021. Ian’s tenure at The Open University from August 2014 to August 2017 included roles as IT Delivery Lead and Strategic Lead for the Centre of Excellence in Engineering, where Ian successfully implemented a new Software Development Life Cycle and established a support-focused center of excellence. Prior experience encompasses technical architect roles at Capita Children's Services and Capita Education Services, along with development roles at Comsult. Ian holds an MBA in Technology Management from The Open University Business School and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Computing from the University of East Anglia.
