Eric Harkness, CFA, CPA has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Eric currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Pico since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Executive Advisor and Chief Executive Officer at RAC KING, LLC from August 2022 to September 2022 and from May 2021 to August 2022, respectively. Eric also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at RAC KING, LLC from September 2020 to May 2021.
Before joining RAC KING, LLC, Eric held several key positions at GATX. Eric was the Senior Vice President, Treasurer & Chief Risk Officer from August 2018 to September 2020 and held the role of Vice President, Treasurer & Chief Risk Officer from April 2007 to August 2018.
Eric also has experience in the financial services industry, having worked as a Vice President and Regional Manager at Fifth Third Bank from 2005 to 2007. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Vice President and CFO at Academic Capital from 1998 to 2005.
Eric began their career in the accounting industry, working as a Senior Associate at EY from September 1997 to September 1998 and as an Associate at Coopers & Lybrand from September 1995 to September 1997.
Additionally, Eric has contributed their expertise as a Board Member at Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance from January 2014 to September 2020.
Eric Harkness, CFA, CPA holds an MBA in Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business (1998-2001) and a BS in Business, Accounting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business (1991-1995). Eric also completed the Emerging CFO Program at Stanford University in 2015.
