Matt Davey

Matt Davey has a diverse and extensive work experience. Matt started their career as a Senior Research Scientist at DSTC, where they were involved in original research, software development, and security consulting. Matt then joined Corvil Ltd. as a Principal Network Scientist, where they played a key role in turning academic research into a successful product. At Corvil, they also served as the Director of Product Management, focusing on market leadership and user experience. Later, they moved to Pico after the sale of Corvil, where they became the Executive Director of Product Management. In this role, they managed the product strategy, positioning, marketing, and sales campaigns, and also launched a managed-service called "Corvil as a Service." Throughout their career, Matt has demonstrated expertise in time synchronization, low-latency trading, high-performance networking, and product development.

Matt Davey earned their BA (mod) in Theoretical Physics from Trinity College Dublin in 1995. Matt then attended the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies and completed their M.Sc. in Mathematics in 1996. From 1996 to 1999, they pursued their Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Cambridge. In 2012, they obtained certification as a Pragmatic Marketing Certified professional from Pragmatic Marketing.
