Vitor Ozaki

Vitor Ozaki has a diverse range of work experience. Vitor is currently the CEO of Picsel, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an MBA Professor in the Professional Master Degree in Agribusiness at FGV Brazil starting from January 2009. From July 2007, they served as an Associate Professor at USP/ESALQ and also acted as the Risk and Insurance Research Group Coordinator (Geser Group). In addition, they worked as an MBA Professor in Agricultural Risk Management at Pecege Esalq/USP starting from January 2007. From August 2015 to June 2018, Vitor worked as the Director of Credit, Risk, and Resources at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply. Before that, they served as a Professor at Insper from January 2007 to July 2007 and at Esamc from March 2006 to December 2006.

Vitor Ozaki obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Agricultural Engineering from Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" (ESALQ) in the years 1995 to 1999. Vitor then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Economics from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, completing it from 1999 to 2005. In 2004, they spent a brief period as a Visiting Researcher at North Carolina State University, specializing in Crop Insurance. Prior to their higher education, Vitor attended Colégio Bandeirantes for their Ensino médio (high school), although the specific dates are not available.
