Frank De Morsier

Frank de Morsier serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Picterra, focusing on developing user-friendly tools for extracting information from aerial and satellite imagery using advanced technologies like active learning, feature selection, and deep convolutional neural networks. Additionally, Frank is a lecturer at the University of Lausanne, teaching a Remote Sensing course, and previously taught Image Processing for Earth Observation at EPFL. With experience as an image processing consultant at REDMIND Technology and as a remote sensing engineer at Noveltis Suisse, Frank has a strong foundation in machine learning applications in remote sensing. Frank's academic background includes a PhD in Signal Processing from EPFL and a Master’s in Image/Signal Processing, complemented by international study experiences in electrical engineering and computer science.
