Leonardo Ruspini

Leonardo Ruspini is an experienced professional in the technology and software development industry. Leonardo began their career in 2012 as Co-Founder/CTO of INGKA Educacion, a company that provides technological solutions for Sciences Education. In 2013, they worked as a Scientific Developer at Lithicon, where they developed and maintained software for core image analysis and flow simulation. In 2014, they moved to FEI Lithicon Digital Rock Services as a Senior Scientific Developer, where they worked on software development and maintenance, as well as research on Pore-scale physics in multi-phase porous media. Leonardo then joined Petricore Norway in 2017 as a Product Development Manager. In 2021, they were appointed Software Development Manager at Q-Free ASA, before becoming Chief Technology Officer at Picterus AS in 2022.

Leonardo Ruspini has a diverse educational background. In 2004, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering from Balseiro Institute. In 2007, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Mechanical/Nuclear Engineering from Balseiro Institute. From 2008 to 2012, they completed a PhD in Mechanical Engineering/Research and Academic staff with a focus on Two-phase flow: modeling and experimental at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). In addition, they have obtained certifications in Machine Learning from Standford University, as well as several Coursera certifications in Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow, Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance.
