Lise Lyngsnes Randeberg has been working in various roles since 2009. Lise Lyngsnes began their career as an Associate Professor of Biomedical Optics at NTNU in 2009. In 2011, they became the President of Tekna, a Norwegian Society of Graduate Technical and Scientific Professionals. In 2013, they became a Board Member and Nestleder (Vice President) of Teknisk Ukeblad Media. In 2014, they became the Leder and Konstituert Leder of Akademikerne, a confederation of professional organizations with approximately 245,000 members. Lise Lyngsnes was also a Board Member of Akademikerne in 2014. In 2015, they became a Co-Founder of Picterus AS, a company that develops an app for diagnostics of neonatal jaundice. In 2020, they became a Share Holder and Technical Advisor of Nordiq Products AS. Finally, in 2022, they became a Board Member of Teknisk Museum.

Lise Lyngsnes Randeberg received their Dr. ing. (PhD) in Biomedical optics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1999 and 2005. Lise Lyngsnes also earned their Sivilingeniør (MSc) in Physics and Mathematics (biophysics) from the same university between 1993 and 1999.
