Antonino Sofia

Antonino Sofia is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in foreign exchange and trading. Currently serving as the Head of Principal Trading FX & Rates (EU) at Pictet Group since September 2014, Antonino previously held the position of Managing Director at Banque Heritage from May 2007 to July 2014, where Antonino led the Markets and Trading division. Prior experience includes roles as Deputy Chief Dealer-Director at Merrill Lynch, Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, and Associate Director at SBC Warburg, focusing on trading in foreign exchange. Antonino began a career in finance at UBS, progressing through various positions from Junior Trader to Assistant Treasurer. Antonino holds an apprenticeship in Banking Business from Swiss Business School in Geneva and is a Level 3 FSA Approved Person in Trading.
