Sebastien Contreras

Sebastien Contreras is an experienced information security professional currently serving as a Board Member for the Swiss Chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance since December 2023. Since May 2020, Sebastien has held the position of Senior Information Security Risk Manager at Pictet Group, where responsibilities include leading the Group Outsourcing & Third-Party Risk Management practice, as well as overseeing Cloud Security Governance and Cyber Insurance. Prior to this, Sebastien worked at Tetra Laval International from January 2012 to April 2020 as Group Information Security Manager, focusing on policies for confidentiality and information management, and chairing cybersecurity committees. Additional roles include coaching at EPFL Innovation Park in 2019 and serving as Senior Information Security Officer at Merck Serono from February 2007 to December 2011, where Sebastien established a significant information security strategy. Academic credentials include a degree from INSEAD in Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption, and a telecommunications engineering degree from the University of Geneva.
