Juliette Richey

COO at Picture Motion

Juliette Richey is the COO at Picture Motion and oversees services across the agency. As an operational leader with strong production and client management experience she drives efficient processes, and workflows; building and managing teams that have a proven history of positively impacting marketing, advocacy, and distribution.

Prior to joining Picture Motion, Juliette held positions across advertising, commercial production, and independent film organizations for over a decade. Juliette is a descendant of the Coahuiltecans of the Rio Grande Valley, and a proud Latina.

Early in her career, Juliette held positions at the Independent Feature Project working directly on IFP’s Film Market and Gotham Awards. She also worked in the screenings division at the Tribeca Film Festival and the grants and services department at the Creative Capital Foundation.

In 2007 she was the associate producer of Esther Robinson’s award-winning feature documentary film: A Walk into the Sea: Danny William’s and the Warhol Factory. Juliette has worked in the advertising sector as Head of Production for Movement Strategy, working with clients like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and Warner Bros.

Previously she worked as Head of Content for VICE Media, Carrot Creative, and Big Fuel Communications. She was a key member at these agencies working hand in hand with their management teams and across departments to build in-house production capabilities, facilities and teams. At those agencies, she worked on a large array of global brands including Target, Jaguar, Clinique, Under Armour, Diageo, and Unilever. Her work has won multiple digital advertising awards including a Webby for Adult Swim, a Clio for Netflix, and a Shorty award for Wilson Sporting Goods.

Juliette is a graduate of the Pratt Institute, receiving a BFA in writing for performance, publication, and media.
