Mete Özaltın

Mete Özaltın has a diverse background in the field of cybersecurity. Mete is currently working as a Blue Team Engineer at Picus Security since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at KKB Kredi Kayıt Bürosu, where they served as a Cyber Security Architect from January 2021 to April 2022 and as a Cyber Security Analyst from January 2020 to January 2021. Before joining KKB Kredi Kayıt Bürosu, Mete worked at Soitron Siber Güvenlik Servisleri as a Security Expert from March 2018 to January 2020. Mete also has experience working at Platin Bilişim as an Information Security and System Engineer from December 2016 to February 2018, and at Bilge Adam as a System and Network Engineer from July 2016 to December 2016. Mete Özaltın started their career as an intern at Turk Telekom in July 2015, where they held the position for two months.

Mete Özaltın's education history began in 2010 when they attended Uludag University. Mete studied Electronics Engineering there until 2016. In 2015, while still enrolled at Uludag University, they also attended Poznan University of Technology, focusing on Electronics and Telecommunication. In 2017, they pursued Cyber Struggle Multidisciplinary Studies for a brief period.

In terms of certifications, Mete Özaltın obtained several notable credentials. In October 2016, they became a Microsoft Certified Professional. In November 2017, they obtained the Symantec Certified Specialist (SCS) in Symantec™ Endpoint Protection 14 from Symantec. The following year, in February 2019, they received the Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification from Palo Alto Networks. Mete Özaltın further expanded their knowledge and skills by obtaining the Proofpoint Accredited Administrator: Email Protection certification from Proofpoint in May 2018.

Mete also attained several certifications from Cisco. In May 2018, they became a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) and in December 2018, they achieved the Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security) certification. Additionally, in November 2020, Mete Özaltın obtained the CompTIA Security+ Certification from CompTIA.
