Johan Quintero

Johan Quintero has extensive work experience in the field of software development and teaching.

From 2021, Johan has been serving as the Android Development Lead at Yummy (YC S21). In this role, they lead, manages, develops, maintains, completes, and tests tasks for the android development team, specifically for the Yummy Rides and Yummy Rides Driver applications. Johan also held a similar position for the Yummy Rocket application from January 2022 to August 2022.

Prior to that, Johan worked as a Professor at the Universidad Central de Venezuela from 2019. Johan taught various subjects related to algorithms, programming, data structures, and object-oriented programming using C++.

Johan also founded their own company, JL Bit Solutions, C.A, in 2018. As the Founder and Developer, they were responsible for providing software development services and digital marketing. Johan also designed and developed the company's website.

In 2016, Johan created video tutorials on YouTube under the channel "Computer Tutorials Magnificent." These tutorials focused on teaching how to develop native mobile applications for Android using Android Studio and Java.

During their freelance work from 2020 to 2021, Johan worked as a Full-Stack/Android Developer, undertaking various development projects, including the development of the "Lovela" application for Android.

Johan Quintero completed their education at the Universidad Central de Venezuela. Johan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from 2011 to 2017. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from 2019 to 2021 at the same institution.

In addition to their formal education, Johan Quintero also obtained several certifications. In June 2022, they completed the "Curso de Arquitectura de Android" and "Desarrollo de Aplicaciones Android" at Platzi. In March 2021, they obtained an EF SET English Certificate with a score of 61/100 (C1 Advanced) from the EF Standard English Test (EF SET). Lastly, in April 2016, they completed the "Become an Android Developer from Scratch" course at Udemy.
