Kris Bagchi

Kris Bagchi is a seasoned professional in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, currently serving as VP of Reinsurance at Pie Insurance since July 2023. Previously, Kris held the position of Vice President of Reinsurance, Corporate Insurance, Underwriting, and Investments at TD Insurance from August 2014 to July 2023. Prior to that, Kris was a Corporate Actuary at CUNA Mutual Group from January 2012 to July 2014, where responsibilities included leading the P&C reserving group and overseeing actuarial analyses and financial reporting. Kris's early career included roles as Group Actuary at PartnerRe Ltd. and Consulting Actuary at Towers Watson. Kris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, earned between 1992 and 1996.
