Lauri Putt Needleman is the VP of People & Talent at Pie Insurance. Lauri has over fifteen years of experience in talent acquisition and management. Lauri started their career as a Marketing Associate with the Corporate Executive Board. Lauri then spent four years as a Senior Recruiter & Resource Manager with The Mergis Group. Lauri then transitioned to Fannie Mae, where they spent six years as the Program Manager for Regulatory Affairs & Compliance. Lauri then became the Talent Acquisition & Mobility Leader with RapidAdvance, where they worked for three years. Most recently, Lauri has taken on the role of VP, People & Talent at Pie Insurance.

Lauri Putt Needleman has a degree in Communications: PR & Journalism from the University of Maryland. Lauri is also certified by AIRS as a Certified Diversity Recruiter (CDR), Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR), and Certified Professional Recruiter (CPR). In addition, they have a certification from the Society for Human Resource Management as a SHRM-CP.

Their manager is John Swigart, CEO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Ekta Aggarwal - Chief Product Officer, Dax Craig - President & Co-Founder, and Jen Straus - VP, People Operations.
