Tetsuro Miyatake has extensive work experience in various roles within the tech and investment industries. Tetsuro is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Off Topic JP, a podcast and newsletter that offers in-depth analysis of US tech news and internet culture to the Japanese community. Tetsuro co-writes the newsletter, Cereal Talk, focusing on direct-to-consumer (DTC) trends in the US.

In 2020, Tetsuro joined Harizury as an Investment Manager. Tetsuro is responsible for sourcing and conducting due diligence for US investments made by Harizury, with a focus on early-stage D2C brands, retail infrastructure and software, and the creator economy. Some of their US investments include Haus, Atoms, Bokksu, and Swaypay.

Tetsuro is also a Contributor for TechCrunch since 2020, where they provide valuable insights and contributions to the tech industry. Additionally, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Pie Systems, contributing to the growth and development of the company.

Previously, Tetsuro held leadership positions as the Chief Executive Officer of Appledore Japan from 2020 to 2021 and as the Chief Operating Officer of Appledore in 2020. Tetsuro also served as a Board Observer for Gifnote, Appledore Japan, FANDOM, and MX.com, where they provided strategic guidance and support.

Tetsuro Miyatake began their education at Middlesex School, where they earned their High School Diploma from 2006 to 2010. Tetsuro then went on to pursue higher education at Babson College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Marketing from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, in 2011, Tetsuro embarked on a Semester at Sea Short Term Voyage, focusing on Sustainability Studies.
