Travis Whiddon is a seasoned commercial lender with significant experience in banking, currently serving at The Piedmont Bank since October 2023. Prior roles include Commercial Relationship Manager at BankSouth from April 2022 to October 2023, and Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending at Craft Bank between 2020 and 2022. Travis has also held key positions at Cadence Bank, N.A. as SVP and Director of Special Assets (2016-2020), and as Special Assets Portfolio Manager at both State Bank and Trust Company (2010-2015) and Bank of North Georgia (2005-2010), where additional responsibilities included roles as a Residential Construction Lender and Credit Analyst. Prior to entering the banking industry, Travis served in the United States Marine Corps from 1998 to 2004 as a Low Altitude Air Defense Gunner. Travis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from Georgia College & State University, earned between 2000 and 2004.
