Tom Wroth

Tom Wroth, MD, MPH, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer at Community Care of North Carolina, having held various leadership roles within the organization since January 2013. Wroth is also the President of North Carolina Community Care Networks, a subsidiary of Community Care of North Carolina. In addition, Wroth has been a Staff Physician and Chief Medical Officer at Piedmont Health Services Inc. since July 1998. Wroth previously held an academic position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at UNC Health Care from July 2005 to January 2009. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Family Medicine Residency from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
