Kelly Kerner

Kelly Kerner is a seasoned fundraising and alumni relations executive with significant experience in higher education and philanthropy. Currently serving as President and Chief Philanthropy Officer for Piedmont Healthcare Foundation since April 2023, Kelly previously held the role of Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations at The University of Georgia from June 2014 to April 2023, where oversight included fundraising, alumni engagement, and career planning. Prior positions include Senior Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations at Bowdoin College and Vice President for College Advancement at Bates College, focusing on alumni relations, parent programs, and fundraising. Kelly's career in development began at Middlebury College as Director of Leadership Gifts from 1994 to 2008. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder and an Associate of Arts in Humanities from Foothill College.
