Michael Shivers

Michael Shivers is an experienced multimedia professional with a robust background in developing innovative multimedia platforms and programs. Currently, as the Manager of Multimedia at Piedmont Healthcare since November 2013, Michael has successfully established a new online video platform for the Piedmont Heart Institute and the Marcus Heart Valve Center. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Senior Multimedia Developer at Emory University, directing a multimedia learning center and creating the institution's first web-based video CME program. Michael's career also includes contributions as a videographer, editor, and producer for the American College of Cardiology, as well as interactive design roles at EyeWonder, web design at L'Abri Fellowship Foundation, and multimedia production at the University of Georgia. Educated in Telecommunication Arts from The University of Georgia, Michael's diverse experience encompasses both hands-on technical skills and strategic management in multimedia development.
