Jerry Hubbs has over 30 years of experience in the field of instrumentation and control system design. Jerry started their career at Albemarle Corporation and gradually rose to the position of Senior Advisor for Instrumentation & Control System Design. In this role, they served as the Global Instrumentation & Control System Design Lead and was responsible for multiple business units and production facilities worldwide. Jerry then worked at Shell as a Process Automation Control and Optimization Engineer for capital projects. Their main task was to review and approve instrument, control system, and automation designs. After that, they joined ISC Engineering as the Instrument & Electrical Design Department Manager, where they led a team of engineers and designers and actively contributed to various projects. Currently, they are the Lead Instrument and Controls Engineer at Piedmont Lithium Inc., where they are responsible for managing key control system OEMs and ensuring adherence to design and quality requirements.

Jerry Hubbs obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University between 1983 and 1987. Jerry also received an FS Eng certification in SIS from TÜV Rheinland Group in September 2023.
