Nick DiColandrea currently serves as the Executive Director of Piedmont Wildlife Center, a position held since August 2024. Previously, Nick was the Climate Strategies Officer at the Conservation Trust for North Carolina from April 2022 to August 2024, focusing on climate resilience initiatives. Additionally, Nick has been actively involved in various leadership roles, including as a council member for America's Service Commissions from July 2017 to August 2024, Board Member and Treasurer at the Museum of Life and Science from May 2021 to June 2024, and PTA President and VP of Fundraising for the Local Raleigh School PTA from July 2019 to June 2024. Nick also served as Senior Director of Affiliates for Lead For America, Resilience Corps NC Program Director for the Conservation Trust for North Carolina, and held management positions in MusicianCorps and Communities In Schools of North Carolina. Nick holds a Master of Public Policy and Administration from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from North Carolina State University.

Piedmont Wildlife Center is a 501(C)3 nonprofit dedicated to fostering lifelong connections with nature and inspiring conservation in people of all ages. We achieve this through immersive outdoor education, engaging animal programs, and impactful wildlife research. We address the need for greater environmental awareness and action by: - Offering camps and animal programs that connect participants with nature from an early age, cultivating a deep appreciation for wildlife and the environment. - Engaging the community in citizen science initiatives, such as Triangle Turtle Trekkers, empowering individuals to contribute to local conservation efforts. - Providing an inclusive environment where people from diverse backgrounds unite in their shared love for nature and wildlife.
