Alexander Smith

Alexander Smith is a seasoned engineering professional with a diverse work history across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Distribution Engineer and formerly as an I&C Design Engineer III at Piedmont Natural Gas since December 2021, Alexander has previously held positions as an Inside Sales Representative at Carolina CAT and as a Project Engineer at Controls Southeast, Inc. Prior engineering experience includes roles as a Manufacturing Engineer at Apollo Flow Controls, a Mechanical Field Engineer at Fluor Corporation, and a Student Intern at Goulston Technologies, Inc. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an Associate of Science (AS) from South Piedmont Early College.
