Karthik Dinakar has been in the tech industry for over a decade. In 2007, they began their career as a Technical Yahoo! at Yahoo!. In 2010, they were a Developer at Deutsche Bank and a Research Assistant at the MIT Media Lab. In 2012, they worked as a Core Search, Whole Page Relevance for Bing at Microsoft. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Research Assistant at the MIT Media Lab. Most recently, they have been a Co-founder at Pienso (US) since 2016.
Karthik Dinakar has completed a PhD in Machine Learning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has also studied Natural Language Processing at the same institution. Additionally, they have studied Applied Machine Learning and Human Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University.
