Alessio Zimar is a seasoned professional in digital innovation and engineering, currently serving as the Digital Innovation & Electronic Manager at Pieralisi since January 2023, where leadership of a team of over eight professionals has driven significant enhancements in operational efficiency and product offerings. Prior to Pieralisi, Alessio managed a global software team at Whirlpool Corporation for a decade, achieving noteworthy reductions in software defects and complexity while holding a role as an R&D Engineer that led to three European patents. Earlier experiences include project engineering at Loccioni Group, focusing on automotive and household appliance sectors, and software/system engineering at AgustaWestland, where Alessio significantly improved simulation systems for military applications. Alessio holds a Master’s degree in Electronic, Automation, and Computer Science from Università degli Studi dell'Aquila, alongside a Master’s in Soft Skills from Consel (Consorzio Elis) in Rome.
