Anna Shelton is a Senior Librarian for Outreach at Pierce County Library System since May 2016. Prior to this role, Anna served as a Program Consultant and Project Coordinator at WebJunction, OCLC from June 2013 to April 2016, where responsibilities included managing the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's Global Libraries Training Work Group. Anna also held various positions at the University of Washington Libraries, including Graduate Funding Information Manager, where assistance was provided to students seeking funding opportunities, as well as roles in archival processing and cataloging. Earlier experience includes Development Manager at the Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County, Project Manager for the 100% Access Project at CHOICE Regional Health Network, and ESL Program Coordinator for Proyecto CIELO. Anna holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Washington and a BA in Spanish and Community Studies from The Evergreen State College.

Pierce County Library is an independent municipal corporation and operates as a junior taxing district.
