Libby Ball is an experienced professional in customer experience, administration, and exhibition management. Currently serving as a Customer Experience Specialist at Pierce County Library System since June 2023, Libby previously held the position of Congregational Administrator at Tahoma Unitarian Universalist Congregation for nearly a decade, overseeing operational and administrative functions. Libby’s extensive background includes roles such as Senior Project Manager at Art Guild, Inc., and various managerial positions at Liberty Science Center, where responsibilities included directing high-profile exhibitions and ensuring alignment with educational standards. Additional experience includes managing guest relations for a blockbuster exhibition at Dallas Historical Society and co-managing exhibition development at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. Libby holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy and Religion and a Bachelor’s degree in Design & Technical Theater.

The nationally acclaimed Pierce County Library System serves 600,000 people throughout Pierce County with 19 libraries and online services. The system is the fourth largest in the state and is funded primarily through property taxes. Pierce County Libraries are located at Anderson Island, Bonney Lake, Buckley, DuPont, Eatonville, Fife, Gig Harbor, Graham, Key Center, Lakewood (temporarily closed), Milton/Edgewood, Orting, Parkland/Spanaway, Pierce County Library Administrative Center, South Hill, Steilacoom, Summit, Sumner, Tillicum and University Place. Pierce County Library is an independent municipal corporation and operates as a junior taxing district.
