Somer Breeze Hanson

Somer Breeze Hanson is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Marketing and Communications Manager at Pierce County Library System since August 2017, Somer has also held positions such as Communications Specialist, Communications Officer/Senior Writer at World Vision, and College Relations Specialist at Clover Park Technical College. In addition, Somer operates as a freelance writer and storyteller, contributing to publications like the Christian Examiner, Tacoma News Tribune, and others. Somer began a career in journalism with roles ranging from Sports Reporter at The Columbian to Prep Sports Reporter at Moscow-Pullman Daily News, earning two awards for writing. An alum of Washington State University, Somer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a focus on journalism.
