Derron Vincik

Derron joined PGAL in 2000 as a project manager and gained increasing responsibilities becoming a Principal of the firm in 2008. He has 26 years of civil engineering design/management experience and over the last 16 years has directed PGAL’s civil projects and mentored staff utilizing his collaborative approach to project management and team building. Derron also leads the firm’s growing transportation group, designing projects ranging from multi-level freeway interchanges and toll roads to rural and urban roadways and transit facilities. Major clients include Harris County, TxDOT, the City of Houston, METRO, and Fort Bend County. His engineering expertise, consistency in meeting challenges head-on, and solid leadership skills have resulted in high commendations from all of the clients, consultants, and contractors who have worked closely with him. Derron is a registered professional engineer in Texas and Louisiana and is an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies, Associated General Contractors of America, Transportation Advocacy Group, and the North Houston Association. Mentoring principals from within is a goal of PGAL and Derron is indicative of that commitment. His spirited energy brings a continued new dimension to their vision as a firm.
