Ian Nestler

EVP at Pierce Goodwin Alexander & Linville, Inc.

With more than 35 years of experience in architectural design and management, Ian has served as project director for numerous commercial, civic, corporate, educational, aviation, justice, hospitality, residential and mixed-use projects, with a focus on contextual design and sustainability. His diverse portfolio includes the new and expanded international Terminal 4 at Fort Lauderdale International Airport; more than 30 planning and design projects at five Florida Universities, including laboratories, academic buildings, libraries, campus housing, and garages; the LEED Platinum South Florida Regional Transit Authority HQ and Garage; the mixed-use Market Station at Florida International University, with police facility, transportation department offices, food court, clinic, classrooms, and 2,000 parking spaces; a new land-based performance and rehearsal studio complex for Carnival Cruise Lines; and the U.S. Federal Courthouse in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Ian earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in architecture from Harvard University.
