Matthew Ellis

With over 24 years of professional experience, Matthew has a variety of experiences ranging from the design and construction of single-family residential to commercial and institutional design. Recognized widely in Southern California for his contributions to the Hospitality Design industry, Matthew, as the founder of Bluemotif Architecture (2002), is the recipient of numerous design awards and accolades. Matthew’s collaborative approach to design, documentation, and construction lend to unique design solutions and mutual respect from his peers in the industry. Having joined the PGAL family (2018), Matthew will continue to foster his guiding design philosophy, that every project presents a new opportunity to create space to be remembered.

Matthew earned a bachelor's degree in architecture and science from Ball State University.
