Ryan Wheaton

Ryan Wheaton has a diverse work experience in various roles within the education and transportation sectors. Ryan has served as an Executive Director of Planning and Community Development at Pierce Transit, where they led a team responsible for service planning, capital planning, grants, marketing, business sales, and public engagement. Prior to that, they worked as a City Manager for the City of Shelton, overseeing general management functions such as police, fire, public works, finance, and human resources. Ryan also has experience as a Specialized Transportation Manager at Pierce Transit, managing a team and budget to serve riders with disabilities. In addition, they have held positions in program coordination, educational consultancy, and teaching. Overall, Ryan's work experience demonstrates their ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and coordinate services across different sectors.

Ryan Wheaton has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Technology & Innovation Management from the Pacific Lutheran University - School of Business. Ryan also holds a MA in Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a BA in Political Science from Colorado State University.
