Martha Cook

Martha Cook is currently the Vice President at Pierpont Communications. Martha has held this position since February 2021. Prior to this, they were with The Point Group from June 2006 to February 2021, where they served as Vice President. During their time at The Point Group, Martha was responsible for the overall strategic direction of the agency’s public relations clients and projected annual revenue of more than $1.2 million. Martha managed a team of PR practitioners and served as a relationship manager on several key agency accounts across multiple industry sectors. Martha also developed initiatives to support departmental operations and new business efforts as part of the senior management team. In addition, they served as an outsourced, 24/7 public relations contact for a major healthcare system.

Before joining The Point Group, Martha was with Temerlin McClain from February 1996 to June 1996 as a Senior Account Executive. From July 1996 to June 2006, they were with Publicis Dialog (now Publicis Consultants) as a Senior Vice President. Martha began their career in 1991 as a Marketing Intern with the Canadian Consulate General and then held the position of Senior Account Executive with E. Bruce Harrison Company from November 1991 to February 1996.

After graduating from Plano East Senior High, Martha Cook attended Texas A&M University where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
