Jackie Sullivan

Growing up just four blocks away from PPSC, Jackie’s passion for sailing began in the summer of 1999 when her parents took advantage of the free opportunity for their daughter to learn to sail. Jackie, a third generation East Boston resident, was the first in her family to have any recreational and educational opportunities on the Boston Harbor. Within three years of Summer, Spring and Fall youth sailing Jackie became a Fall & Spring After School instructor. That next summer PPSC developed the Future Leader program where Jackie was a part of the original 12 FLs. The Future Leaders program fast-tracked Jackie on a trajectory of holding four director positions at PPSC. Jackie’s titles included director of After School Programs, the Harbor Explorers & The Free Lunch Program as well as Special Events Coordinator.

After a decade-long absence into the construction industry, earning her Construction Supervisors License, Jackie returned to PPSC traveling from the South Shore to have her young daughters participate in the Harbor Explorers program . Jackie’s return escalated from teaching in Adult Learn to Sail lessons, attending Thursday Night Racing to Social Content Director.
