Omar Sahrour

Omar first joined Piers Park Sailing Center at 8 years old through a program partnership with the East Boston YMCA. He hasn’t missed a summer yet and has fallen in love with the sport of sailing. Omar has transitioned from being a student to a future leader to an instructor. Omar was previously the director of sailing at Camp Harbor View and became Asst. Director of all youth programs in 2022.

In the offseason, Omar attends Suffolk University where he is Majoring in Biology and he also works at Massachusetts General Hospital as a Patient Care Associate.
