Sergey Ponomarenko

Sergey Ponomarenko has been working in the IT/DevOps field since 2009. Sergey began their career at Volia as a Maintenance Engineer Telecommunications, where they were responsible for maintenance and fix of telecom networks, as well as management of a group of technicians. In 2011, they joined Polygon as the Head Of Information Technology Department, where they were responsible for development and management of distributed area networks, servers based on Linux systems, VOIP based on Asterisk PBX, development and management of company IT Infrastructure, Security and Access control, and management of IT team. In 2015, they moved to ItSupportMe as the IT/DevOps Department Lead, where they managed a team of 15+ IT Engineers and was responsible for Servers Hardware, Full environment backup and recovery, Active Directory, Mail service based on MS Exchange, Office 365, DevOPS, AWS cloud environments, VOIP services, Fax Services, Network management with ~100 locations, Information Security, and Service Desk. In 2018, they joined PieSoft.US as the DevOps Team Lead.

Sergey Ponomarenko obtained their Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics in 2009. In April 2020, they were also awarded an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
