Daniel Alvey

Daniel Alvey, CFRE, currently serves as the Supporter Development Manager at Pieta since March 2025. Previously, Daniel held various positions at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Ireland from July 2016 to March 2025, including Individual Giving Manager, Interim Head of Fundraising, and Donor Development Lead. In the role of Individual Giving Manager, Daniel introduced the first individual giving strategy and successfully grew the direct mail program significantly. As Interim Head of Fundraising, Daniel led the National Fundraising team, overseeing a record-breaking Annual Appeal campaign that exceeded €6 million in 2022. Earlier experience includes roles at Merchants Quay Ireland, Sightsavers Ireland, and Habitat for Humanity Ireland, as well as a background in hospitality management. Daniel holds a degree in Sociology and Social Policy from Trinity College Dublin and has completed several certifications related to fundraising and non-profit leadership.
