FRANK H. STOY, IV is a Partner in the Commercial Litigation and Product Liability Practice Groups of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP.
Mr. Stoy has experience in all stages of litigation in trial and appellate courts, as well as arbitration. Mr. Stoy has handled a variety of complex matters related to product liability, commercial contracts, business torts, trade secrets, professional liability, insurance recovery, financial services, and commercial real estate disputes. Mr. Stoy also has experience handling class action and multidistrict litigation matters.
Mr. Stoy’s representative matters routinely involve cutting edge technology across federally regulated industries, including cases involving nuclear power, railroads, and pharmaceuticals.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Stoy served as Special Assistant to Duquesne University President Ken Gormley where he helped edit and revise “The Presidents and the Constitution,” which provides a unique legal perspective on the history of the American Presidency.
During law school, Mr. Stoy served as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Frederick P. Stamp in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. Mr. Stoy was also a senior editor on the Duquesne Law Review and the founding President of the law school’s Appellate Moot Court Board. Mr. Stoy received the Duquesne University School of Law Distinguished Student Award, the Shalom Moot Court Award, and was elected to the Order of the Barristers.
