PMI has been manufacturing ropes and equipment in the USA since 1976. That’s over four decades of experience, hard at work for you. We’ve also been responsible for pioneering some of the most innovative products and brands into the worlds of rescue, caving, rope access, and work at height. And if you love the gear we offer, you ought to check out our training, too! PMI’s Vertical Rescue Solutions (VRS) Training arm is staffed and managed by some of the most cutting edge professionals who are eager to not only ‘show you the ropes’ but to also help provide technical assistance, regulatory information, and other resources to help you succeed. As a company founded and run by experienced rope users, we are committed to serving you as though our lives depend on it... because they do! That’s why we invest part of our profits in the success of the markets we serve. Did you know that SPRAT originated with PMI? We also helped to found and have continuously supported and presented the International Technical Rescue Symposium since it’s inception. We are actively involved with NFPA, ANSI, Mountain Rescue Association, National Cave Rescue Commission, International Commission for Alpine Rescue, and a host of other important industry activities and organizations. We know what it’s like to put your life on the line day after day, and it is our purpose and joy to serve and support your efforts. You’ll find more than just “products” at PMI; you’ll find solutions that have been meticulously crafted, selected, and approved by PMI employees who take work (and play) at height as seriously as you do. Climb Safe.
