Christa Funke

Senior Librarian, Tweens, Family & Children's Services at Pikes Peak Library District

Christa Funke has been working at Pikes Peak Library District since September 2010, currently holding the title of Senior Librarian for Tweens, Family & Children's Services. Christa has extensive experience in coordinating programming for tweens, standardizing family and children’s programming, and leading district-wide initiatives. Funke also founded the Colorado Tween Interest Group, providing valuable resources and support to library staff serving tweens across the state. In addition to their library work, Christa has experience as a Theatre Teacher for homeschool classes at Collegium and Monument Creative Arts. Funke holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Theater from Cedarville University.
