Doug Fanning

Doug Fanning has extensive work experience in the field of IT and quality assurance. Doug started their career at NationsBank as an ACH Technical Support and then worked as a Staff Accountant at FIRSTPLUS FINANCIAL GROUP PLC. Doug later joined Compupros Unlimited LLC as a QA Tester, followed by Pegasus Systems in the same role. Doug then worked at Verizon Data Services as a Senior QA Lead, where they directed testing efforts across organizations and managed a team of 11 resources. Doug also developed and implemented new testing procedures and tools. After Verizon, they joined Charles Schwab as a Test Lead, managing testing efforts for various applications and optimizing end-user experience outcomes. Doug then worked at IBM as a Test Lead, where they developed manual test cases, created test plans, and automated a complex system. Doug later joined Wells Fargo as a Test Coordinator, creating test plans and coordinating project calls. Doug then worked at Segue Technologies as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, developing and executing test plans for US Airforce applications. Currently, they are working as an IT Director at Pikes Peak Regional Building Department, where they create IT strategies, leads a team, and aligns business growth objectives with IT project development.

Doug Fanning's education history begins in 1991 when they attended Baylor University. Doug completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance, General in 1995. In 1992, they briefly attended Yale University for General Studies.

After a substantial gap, Doug returned to education in 2018 at the University of Denver. Doug pursued studies in Information Technology but did not complete a specific degree.

In terms of certifications, Doug obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in February 2019. Doug also acquired the Full Stack Developer certification from the University of Denver in January 2019. Previously, in January 2018, Doug obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA.
