Lorenzo Canali

Lorenzo Canali has extensive work experience dating back to 1998. Lorenzo is the Co-Founder and CEO of Pikkart Srl, an innovative scale-up focusing on Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Vision solutions. Lorenzo co-founded AI4SMARTCITY and AI4HEALTH in 2019, serving as the CEO for both companies. Lorenzo is also the Founder and Administrator of Progetti di Impresa s.r.l., a partner for innovation, and the Founder and Administrator of Eticon srl, a consulting company that was incorporated into Progetti di Impresa in 2017. Additionally, Lorenzo worked as a Consultant for Organizational Development at Gruppo Pro from 1998 to 2000.

Lorenzo Canali pursued their education with a strong emphasis on business and technical studies. From 1976 to 1980, they attended ITC A. Baggi where they obtained a degree in Ragioneria. Following this, from 1981 to 1986, Canali enrolled at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Bologna where they earned a degree in Informatics. Later on, in 1989, Canali attended Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna where they completed a Master's program in Business Management, encompassing subjects such as Finance, Marketing, Law, and Strategy, earning him a master's degree in Gestione di Impresa.
