Pikkuli is a Nordic children’s brand and original IP, known for its distinctive visual world and emotionally resonant storytelling.

Originating from books and an animated TV series broadcast in over 40 countries, Pikkuli has grown into a multi-platform universe spanning publishing, mobile games, music, live experiences and early childhood learning environments. The brand combines warmth, curiosity and emotional intelligence in a way that resonates with both children and adults.

Set in the forest of Sunny Moor, Pikkuli’s stories explore friendship, big feelings and small everyday adventures, creating a timeless world that travels naturally across cultures.

The brand is now entering a major new chapter with the feature film Pikkuli and Starlight Reindeer, premiering in the Nordics in autumn 2026, with international distribution to follow. The film expands Pikkuli’s visual language into a unique hybrid of hand-painted 2D environments and richly textured 3D characters.

All Pikkuli stories are written and directed by creator Metsämarja Aittokoski, while the visual world and character design are shaped by Antti Aittokoski, who also composes the original music.

With an established international footprint and a growing audience, Pikkuli is positioned for expansion across global markets, with strong potential across licensing, publishing, audiovisual content and strategic partnerships.

We are currently open for new collaborations and partnerships.
