Simon Waldis

Simon Waldis is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as a Factory Test Pilot and Flight Instructor at Pilatus Aircraft Ltd since March 2023. With a robust background as a Pilot in the Swiss Air Force from September 2009 to February 2023, Simon Waldis specialized as a Fighter Pilot on the F/A-18 Hornet and also instructed on the PC21 and F/A-18. Additionally, Simon Waldis gained international experience as a flight instructor on the Pilatus PC21 during an exchange program with the Armée de l’air et de l’espace from March 2019 to August 2020. Simon Waldis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, completed in June 2012.
