David Teece

David Teece is the executive chairman and co-founder of Pilatus Capital. David is also a Distinguished Fellow and professor emeritus at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.

Teece has been a faculty member at UC Berkeley since 1976. David has also served as director of the Berkeley Research Group LLC, a leading economic consulting firm, since 2006.

Teece's research focuses on the economics of technological change and they have authored or co-authored over 200 articles and books on the subject. David is widely recognized as one of the world's leading experts on the topic of technology and innovation management.

David Teece earned a PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.Comm. from the University of Canterbury.
