Jeff Downey

Jeff Downey has extensive experience in technical and quality management within the food industry, currently serving as the Group Technical Systems and Governance Manager at Pilgrim's Europe since July 2016. Their expertise includes designing and implementing technical strategies, governance, and performance management programs that have successfully improved compliance and operational efficiency across multiple sites. Prior roles include QEHS Manager at Arla Foods and Hygiene and HACCP Manager at Nestlé, among various other positions, where Jeff has demonstrated strong leadership in food safety, health, safety, and environmental management. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Environmental Health from Ulster University, a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, and post-graduate studies in Business Administration from Northumbria University.
