Teresa Shafer

Teresa Shafer is an experienced professional in the field of quality assurance, currently serving as the Director of Quality Assurance for Rendering and Wet Pet at Pilgrim's since May 2023. Prior to this role, Teresa held the position of Quality Assurance Manager for Protein Conversion at Pilgrim's Pride from January 2004 to May 2023, and served as the Field Services Manager at Pilgrim's from 2001 to 2004. Teresa's career began at Rocco, Inc. as a Service Tech from 1983 to 1998. Teresa holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from James Madison University and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Poultry Science from Virginia Tech.
