Clete Pillen is an experienced professional in human resources and sales management. Since March 2000, Clete has contributed to Pillen Family Farms, focusing on human resources. Prior to this, Clete held the position of National Account Publication Manager at Sandhills Publishing from September 1989 to March 2000 and worked as a National Account Sales Representative at PepsiCo from May 1981 to September 1989. Clete began the career as a Sales Manager at Carnation Food Company Ltd. from June 1977 to May 1981. Clete earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln between 1972 and 1977.

Pillen Family Farms is a multi-generational Nebraska-based family agribusiness company. Our daily commitment is to produce high-quality pork while protecting the environment and promoting animal welfare. Many factors contribute to the success of our farms, however, our people are the key. Our farms support local economies and annually purchase 14 million bushels of corn out of the field and from cooperatives. If planted in a twelve row strip, this would be enough corn to make over a complete circle around the globe. Annually, we produce enough pork to feed over 13 million people.
